Spend Canada Day on Fort Calgary’s 40+ acres of riverfront grounds.

  • 9:00 am: Free Fort Calgary scones for the first 1000 guests
  • 9:00 am – 4:00 pm: Concert in the Main Tent
    Live local music with emcee Julie Van Rosendaal (CBC Radio)
  • 10:00 am: Canada Day Opening Ceremony
  • 10:00 am – 1:00 pm: Bow River Paddling Race

    Circus Playshop Area, Hula hoop workshops, giant bubble station, and circus performers

  • 9:00 am – 5:00 pm: Canadian Artists for the Poor (CAP) is celebrating its 10th year anniversary art walk (Heart for Art 2018) along Stephen Avenue. Bring along your family and friends to join us with a fun filled day of art, music and entertainment. Come, meet, see and support the work of talented artists from the different non for profit organizations and other local artists across the city.
  • 11:00 am – 5:00 pm: Downtown Calgary’s Summer Stage will be moved down to Olympic Plaza with musical programming.
  • 11:00 am – late: Downtown restaurants will have their patios open and full
